Bring the whole family to our 'Simchat Torah Grand Unscrolling Ceremony'! it's a special occasion where we unroll the Torah Scroll together and take a tour of the text. It's a perfect occasion for people of all ages, stages and backgrounds!
Simchat Torah in Hebrew means “the joy of Torah.” Reform Jews celebrate the day following the seven-day holiday of Sukkot by reading the last passage and first passage of the Torah. At CSR, we unfurl the entire Torah scroll in the Sanctuary each Simchat Torah.
Afterwards, we invite everyone for a festive kiddush including "Make your own Lulav Shakes" (rescheduled from Sukkot) sponsored by CSR.
